Mistress Mina is upset with her slave for taking her for granted and not being obedient enough, so she decides to give him a reminder of his lowly position in life. Mina orders the slave to his knees and begins cutting off his hair, intentionally making it look as bad as possible. She just laughs as the slave complains that she is making him look horrible, as that is exactly her intention. She finishes off the cut by carving her name into his hair, so every time he looks into a mirror he can be reminded of who his Mistress is.
